Fast quotes are great, but can you trust them? Here's how our same-day preliminary quote works, and why the site visit still matters.

People love a fast quote. When you're ready to get a fence sorted, waiting days for a price is frustrating.
But a fair question follows. If someone gives you a price that quickly, how can it be right?
We give you two prices, and each one has a different purpose.
The preliminary quote comes the same day. It's based on what you tell us, like the length of fence, the type you want and the photos you send. It gives you a realistic idea of cost so you can decide if it's worth going further.
The formal quote comes after we visit. We measure properly and check the slope, the access, the soil and anything in the way. That's the price you sign.
Some of the worst stories I've read in reviews come from contractors who skipped this step. One fence ended up with a gap of more than 20 centimetres under it because nobody allowed for the slope of the block.
A phone quote can't see that. A tape measure on site can.
For most jobs, the formal quote lands close to the preliminary one. If it changes, it's because we found something on site you'd want to know about, and we'll explain exactly what and why.
No surprises. No bait and switch.
