• WorkCover: required to protect the people working on your site.
• Licensing: we're QBCC licensed, and that comes with ongoing costs.
• Fuel and travel: getting a crew and a loaded vehicle to your place.
• Setup and pack-up: tools, materials, cleanup and disposal.
• Wages: a crew's time, even when the job is short.

On a big job, those costs are spread across many metres. On a small job, they land on just a few.

Larger jobs are what allow fencing companies to keep their per-metre prices fair. That's why a small job can look expensive by comparison. It isn't padding. It's the cost of doing it properly.
